"Sophia has had success both on the soccer field and in the classroom during her time at SCHS. She became the anchor of our defense her junior season after playing in the midfield throughout her career prior to that point. Her willingness to make the change in position is illustrative of her team first approach and is a major reason for our success. Sophia's academic interests include writing and human behavior. Her favorite subject at SCHS is English and she plans to major in Psychology as she continues her academic and athletic careers at Rockhurst in the fall. But before she leaves, we expect one more great season from Sophia in Lady Irish green!"
