Lady Irish Dominant in Sectional win over ElDo
SPRINGFIELD, MO -- The Lady Irish came out of the gates fast on Thursday night and never seemed to looked back. Catholic hosted the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs a team that had racked up 34 wins en route to the Class 3 sectional. The energy was electric in the "O" and the student section was the largest turnout of the season. The team seemed to feed off the energy from the opening serve only trailing after the first point in the 3rd set.
The win earns the team a MSHSAA Quarterfinal matchup against Strafford this Saturday (10/30) at Strafford High School. The Lady Irish have played the Lady Indians twice this season, splitting the games at 3 each in the process. Saturday's winner will advance to the MSHSAA Class 3 Final 4.
