CLEVER, MO -- The Lady Irish entered district play as one of the top teams in Class 3, racking up 29 wins during regular season play. Their play throughout the season earned them a 1-seed and a first round bye in the tournament at Clever High School. The girls played strong in the tournament winning 6 straight sets in the semi-final and final matchups.

The district championship will pit the Irish against fellow class 3 powerhouse El Dorado Springs. The Irish have not faced the lady Bulldogs since the Strafford Volleyfest last season. The quarterfinal game will take place at Sprignfield Catholic High School this Thursday (10/28).
