The Lady Irish romped the Hollister Tigers 64-18 in a packed gymnasium for Senior Night at Springfield Catholic on Monday, January 29th, 2024.
Liz Fairchild set the crowd buzzing with a 3-pointer in the JV match before joining Addison Ahlstrand, Katie Galligos and Olivia Swisshelm in the starting line-up for the varsity match. Swisshelm's return to the court was brief and bittersweet as she was expected to be a key cog on the court but is still rehabbing her knee. Once the game reconvened, Ahlstrand opened by scoring with a lay-up and the team rolled from there. Galligos totaled a game-high 17 points before the night was over and the post-game celebration began.
