SPRINGFIELD, MO -- On Wednesday, May 4th, the Fighting Irish Boy's Tennis team placed second in the Big 8 Conference Tournament. Morgan McClain (flight 1), Joey Daues (flight 3), and Jason Schmittling (flight 4) each finished first in their respective flights in singles. Brett Crockett and Jack Stout placed second in flight 2. In doubles, the team of McClain and Crockett finished first in flight 1. The team of Daues and Schmittling placed third in flight 2.

Morgan McClain finished the regular season as Big 8 Conference Player of the Year and the team of McClain and Crockett finished as Big 8 Conference Doubles Team of the Year.
