Irish move to 3-0 with win over Pembroke Hill

After years of traveling north to play Pembrook Hill the Irish finally played host to the Raiders.
From the start of this match Catholic pressed forward as they controlled the ball producing 10 shots to Pembrook's 5 as well as an unprecedented 8 corner kicks. However, the first score had to wait until 1:07 was left in the first half when Benny Greenley threw in the ball to Dane Rowe who slipped past three defenders and nailed a low shot across the goal past the goalie just before half. Calvin Sanders slammed home a goal in the second half when Colby Fritz found him at the top of the box. The only Raider goal came after the Catholic defense pulled up looking for an offsides call from the official that never came.

The Irish extend their record to 3-0 as they look forward to hosting Marshfield on Tuesday.
