The SCHS Men's Golf team finished 3rd in the MSHSAA Class 2 State Championship hosted at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, MO May 15-16th, 2023. The Irish were sitting 5th after the first round but roared back to move up two places in tough conditions on day 2.  The Irish had 3 members finish within the top 20 individually with sophomore Jack Beykirch earning a 12th place medal. Senior Jack Griesemer finished in 16th just one stroke out of the MSHSAA top 15 medalist.  Drew Stufflebam and Noah Henderson also contributed to the team effort.

Class 2 State Championships:

1. Summit Christian Academy 319 + 311 = 630

2. California 328 + 334 = 662

3. Springfield Catholic 356 + 335= 691

4. Cole Camp 343 + 350 = 693

5. Lutheran St. Charles 360 + 342 = 702

6. Hermann. 346 + 372 = 718
