Mac County would pull within 11 after the 3rd quarter but wouldn't get closer than that. The Irish were led by Zach Howell, pouring in 41 points during the contest. Liam O'Reilly dished out 7 assists and Zach Howell and Major Riley brought pulled down 8 boards apiece.

The Lady Irish basketball team claimed their Big 8 East Championship with a 53-36 win over Reeds Spring on Monday, February 21.

After jumping out to a quick lead, the Wolves clawed back into the game with a strong 2nd quarter performance narrowing the lead to 3 points at the half. The Irish came out of the break in a box and one defense which enabled them to pull away in the third quarter and put the game out of reach. Multiple players contributed to the scoring barrage with Katie Galligos (16) and Avery Ahlstrand (10) leading the way.
