CLEVER, MO -- The Irish have kicked off their tournament season in Clever for the past 5 years. During those 5 years, the winner of that tournament has either been Hartville or Springfield Catholic. 

The Irish prevailed in 2017, and 2018 winning both events by beating Hartville in the finals. The Eagles proceeded to win in 2019 and 2020, topping the Irish in the finals of the 2020 contest. This year, the momentum would swing back to the Irish. Standing in the way of the Irish was a 47-game winning streak by Hartville, the 7th longest winning streak in Missouri History. 

The Irish would take advantage of this years matchup and didn't trail at any point during the game. The young Hartville team could be commended for their sound fundamental play and stifling defense. Liam O'Reilly, Zach Howell, and Ty Lyon were all named to the All-Tournament team.
